When I think about my journey over the next 12 months while getting my Masters, I think of the multiple avenues I am going to take. My intention is to learn and absorb all I can in the world of creative writing. I want to collaborate with my peers and engage in dialogue that will help elevate my career. When I think of the mastery journey and all it will provide, I get a sense of excitement and hope for my future.
With each new class, I plan on using my resources to help me become a better writer with each assignment. Character development and script writing is what I look forward to the most. I have so many ideas on who and what I want to create and I know starting with my mastery class, I will be able to do so. As I progress through, I hope to have created some great content that I could possibly pitch post my academic career. I look up to so many people within the entertainment industry, I plan on using them as inspiration as I navigate the next 12 months.
What I am most excited about is the confidence I am going to gain in receiving my Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. These next 12 months are going to be full of hard work, dedication, and sleepless nights. I believe that with the instruction from my professors and team work from my peers, a lot of great things are going to happen. I am ready for the challenge to learn and achieve greatness. I look forward to looking back on this experience as my careers progresses and I am apart of film and television magic. I hope you enjoy my blog and my experiences along the way!
